SUSTAIN CBD/DUAL-PURPOSE
PROJECT (2017)
In 2017, we partnered with Suståne Natural Fertilizers to demonstrate the value of Suståne organic nutrient products on industrial hemp for outdoor CBD and dual purpose hemp production and to establish optimal rates of application.
HISTORIC HEMP PROJECTS
(2016-2017)
UHI facilitates hemp research plots at historic sites in Central Kentucky. These sites provide education to the local communities, and basic varietal research in partnership with the University of Kentucky and Schiavi Seeds LLC. Sites include Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate in Lexington, and Farmington Historic Plantation and Locust Grove in Louisville, Kentucky.
CHARAH PROJECT
(2016)
In 2016, UHI conducted hemp research trials on behalf of Charah product application. The SulferPLUS and SulferPlus Boron products by Charah were applied at multiple rates to determine optimal application. These trials were conducted in partnership with Mulberry Orchard (Gajdzik Farms).
COURTNEY FARMS GRAIN PROJECT (2016)
UHI partnered with Courtney Farms in 2015 to conduct research and three hemp grain varieties. Each variety was planted at three different densities and monitored throughout the season.
MULBERRY ORCHARD (GAJDZIK FARMS) VARIETY TRIALS (2016)
In 2016, UHI partnered with Mulberry Orchard (Gajdzik Farms) to conduct research on nine hemp varieties. Each variety was planted at three different densities and monitored throughout the season.
MERISTOGA (BREEN FARMS) PROJECT
(2015)
UHI consulted on a 130-acre project on behalf of Meristoga (Breen Farms) in 2015, providing various industry needs from farm management to resource acquisition.

We work with farmers to facilitate quality, controlled, industrial hemp research trials on behalf of our clients.
DEVELOPMENT
Our processing capabilities allow us to turn raw hemp materials into down stream products for production.
